After growing up in Geelong, Dr Breed completed his Bachelor of Psychology in Ballarat prior to returning to Geelong to complete his medical degree at Deakin University. He completed his specialty training in Horsham, Ballarat and Ararat before working in Tasmania, Queensland and Western Australia.

As well as providing rural specialist primary care, secondary care and emergency and inpatient care, Dr Breed is also a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Medicine with Deakin University’s Rural Training Stream.
