Dr Breed is currently consulting at Ararat Medical Centre and this is the only location able to take bookings at this time.
At Ararat Medical Centre Dr Breed provides eligible services at no out-of-pocket cost. Not all services are eligible for a Medicare rebate, further information is available below about this.

“Standard” Appointment
Suitable for example: 1-2 issues only, medication review whist renewing scripts, reviewing renewing referrals, followup from prior appointments, starting point if you are not sure what sort of appointment to book, working with Dr Breed to organise subsequent appointments for multiple issues.

“Long” Appointment
Generally only booked by prior arrangement after initial “Standard” consultation.
Telemedicine appointment
VIDEO CONSULTATION IS STRONGLY PREFERED OVER TELEPHONE. FACE TO FACE IS STRONGLY PREFERED OVER VIDEO CONSULTATION
Suitable for example: medical certificates for respiratory illnesses or gastro, prior arrangement with Dr Breed, or when travelling for example.
Other Services
Not all services attract Medicare rebate, common examples of these sorts of issues include workplace medical assessments, commercial drivers licence assessments and some travel medicine consultations.
Procedures
All procedures (Implanon, skin cancer, plasters etc) MAY attract an out of pocket cost. This cost will be discussed with you prior to the procedure to allow an informed choice.
Emergency/On The Day Appointments
A limited number of On the Day appointments with Dr Breed are available on the days he works, please request this specifically if required. Otherwise a Duty Doctor is always available.
Nursing Home Visits
Currently not taking new clients in Nursing homes
Comercial Drivers Licence/Workplace Medical
Please contact Ararat Medical Centre and state this as the reason for visit when booking
New Patients
Contact the friendly reception staff to determine the right appointment for you. Please bring all your medications and your history with you to your appointment.
Script Requests
Please contact the friendly reception staff at Ararat Medical Centre.
Home Visits
Available by prior arrangement only directly with Dr Breed.
Travel Medicine
Please book a long appointment
Child Health Checks
If for 6 week post partum check please also book a consecutive appointment for mother either directly before or after the newborn appointment.
Chronic Disease Plans or Health Assessments
Please let the friendly reception staff know and they will assist you with your booking both the nurse and the doctor.
Mental Health Care Plan
Please mention this is the reason for your booking when speaking to our friendly reception team.
Complete Skin Check
Available as a dedicated appointment and booking this way is recommended.
